GENETIC MUTATION IN ACCLAIMED AQUARIUM: FISH GROWS HUMAN LEGS AND ARMS! by CF

A fish at the National Science Aquarium was discovered to have human arms and legs after two years in isolation, with daily injections of human blood - it had taken on other human traits too, growing earlike lumps on the sides of its head and having a longer, more defined neck.

Marissa Colt, a marine biologist at the NSA, quotes: “After a few weeks, Dolly (the fish) was beginning to look [a] little lumpy… and when fingers began to grow, we became very excited.” The scientists at the NSA were ecstatic to see the common carp gain human DNA. It took roughly 2 (two) weeks to grow the extra appendages, says Jared Sandstone, the Director of Aquatic Research.

“On December twenty-fourth (24th),” Sandstone says, “We noticed odd bone structures forming, and her… muscles were beginning to attach to the new bones. [The] new muscles were weak and undeveloped, so we began to give her growth stimulators. After a few days, we saw more growth… [it] continued until they were full limbs.”

Scientists are rapidly investigating this odd phenomenon to learn more about it and see if they could simulate this with other fish. It was recently found that common carp’s DNA, if mixed together with other DNA, tends to conform to the new DNA instead of staying the same like many other species’ genetic codes. They think that Dolly may be an exception, but they will surely be trying this experiment with other carp, too.
